Spark Plug wires replacement

Need to change spark plug wires on my 2009 Big Dog Coyote. To remove coil cover shop manual says that I need to remove engine mount screw that has red (2760) loctite as well as ignition coil mounting plate screws that also have red (2760) loctite on it. Normally heat would need to be applied to remove a bolt with red loctite, but I can not apply the heat because it will melt my wires. Any suggestions on how to remove these bolts/screws?

it's probably a 50/50 whether or not the factory used the Loctite at all, but you could just try using a hair dryer to heat it up a little instead of an all out heat gun. and, run it out and back in a little at a time to help loosen it up, maybe that will help. don't forget when you get the screws out to run a thread chaser in and out of the holes before you re-install them.

and just use blue on the coil cover screws.

You should be able to reach them with out taking the cover off.
When you put the new ones on, put a zip tie around the boot. This will hold them on the coil better. Sucks when one comes off going down the road.
