FYI, back in 07, I posted up a simple and quick way to get handle bar spacers. i went to my local cycle supply shop and got a set of wheel spacers. they are available in any length you want. they are alum. stock, and hand polish very easley to a bright shine. our local hardware store, ACE Hardware, carries stainless steel bolts in the proper lenghts and strength. nice quick, simple and safe way of raising your bars.:2thumbs:

bump.

Just started looking for a set of 1.5" spacers - any recommendations?

Would like them to "blend" in with the dog as much as possible - will get them chromed if need be. Why doesn't lowdown make these? hint.

just use billet wheel spacers and polish the hell out of them. you can get them at any good bike shop. thats what I used back in 2008.:D

Got the 1.5" risers installed today - big difference, love the additional pull back & feel. Honestly, they could be a little longer for me but it was worth it, happy with the install. I also had to notch (dremel) the aluminum risers to make room for the 3/8" Big Dog plate thing between the bars - no big deal, the cables all reach fine and you'll need 4" grade 5 or better bolts. Photos for reference.
