Sooty Pipe

Looking for some opinions on possible causes.

My fwd cylinder pipe tip gets really sooty after a few rides when compared to my rear cylinder pipe tip. Bike runs great, no decel popping, carb adjusted per manual, etc. No exhaust or intake leaks found. Plugs look good too.

Ran it by member John Sachs last night and he offered some feedback but I would like to get some additional opinions and have a solid gameplan before I attack this issue (if required).

Is this something to live with since rear cylinder typically runs hotter due to location?

Any advice or tests anyone recommends?

If the bike is running fine, should I just disregard?

Mine does the same. I really don't worry about it all that much on my evo but on my old Shovelhead I ran a rear head cooler.

Like this thing you see under the tank between the cylinders. It funneled airflow to the rear jug:
