The bolt going in to the camel toe looking bracket on the top engine mount came out and got lost. The one that goes from the camel toe to the bracket on the engine itself. It's a 3/8" bolt approximately 1" long. Does anybody out know the exact size and if there is a thick washer under it? I found the torque and the 2440 to be used on it out of the manual but it says nothing about the washer or the exact size.

Thanks for any and all help in the matter.

if i remember right, that is a nylon washer about 1/16" thick. but memory ain't what it used to be.

3/8? are you sure?
All the top motor mount bolts I stock are 1/2" fine.

No nylon washers, they will just flatten out and the bolt will manage to works it way out again.
Use a chrome lock washer behind the bolt and use loc-tite primer on the male and female threads before using red loc-tite.

Stopped by the local custom bike shop and picked up a 3/8"-16 x 1-1/4" Allen head chrome bolt and a thin spacer. Modified the spacer a little bit and it fits perfect. I went with blue locktite, although red would have been fine on the 3/8" bolt.

It is the bolt that goes down in the middle of the camel toe Curtis, 3/8" for sure.
