Hey guys, remember that thread I started about the best mechanic in each state, well it looks like I need one now. I had my bike parked at a local park in Rhode Island, my wife and I took a walk and when we returned the bike was on the ground. I thought it was my fault until I noticed all the stress cracks in the back fender. Someone hit it trying to park, driving it to the ground. The DUMB ASS then left with no note. Looks like I need some parts but can't find anywhere to buy them. Can you guys help me out?? Thanks, rich

Damm the lowlifes. Post some pictures and a list of what you need. Maybe someone will have what you need laying around.

It looks like I need a rear fender, rear right brake/directional light, brake handle, foot peg, mirrors and someone that knows how to match paint. I believe all the parts are OEM right from the factory when it was built . The bike is a 2003 Bulldog with only 5000 miles on it, so it was a gem. Let me know what you think

a note for all to think about. BACK THE BIKE INTO THE PARKING SPACE! with it backed in, there is a strong possibility the bike will stay up on the kickstand and the front fender is higher than most car bumpers so less damage. if you pull it into the space, it will probably roll forward and the kickstand will go up, causing the bike to fall. and the rear fender is lower than most car bumpers, thereby causing more damage.

That sucks. I try to avoid generic parking spaces all together and park illegally or in a remote area away from idiots!

Yes--always back in, and don't back up so far cagers
can't see your bike as they approach. I usually put my front tire
Even with their rear tire so the bike is visible to anyone approaching.

Had my bike tagged as it was parked. I left a half a car length behind him. He still managed to just hit the lower front fender he was lucky I notice til the next day. So it just a slight scuff mark. So not as bad as yours but it still a blemish. Hope you are able to fix soon and get back riding.
