Some airbrush practice

had some spare time after work last night so I was playing with the airbrush. Did the skulls first, then tried doing a lady. Here's what I came up with.

Tonight I did this one that I call "moneyman" on a piece of cardboard I had in the garage

Been doing a lot of that myself, anyone can learn, it just takes a lot of practice. I'm not as good as Roaddawg but I'm getting their. Great work Roaddawg.

I've tried airbrushing in the past as a hobby, doing a T-shirt here, a jean jacket there, but when I retired 3 years ago I had the time to finally do more. I have never had any formal art training, but I have attended some local seminars relevant to basic airbrushing. Most of what I have learned has come from visiting the website:

There is so much talent on this site, all the big names and they dispense all sorts of advice, tips, techniques, etc. So, now when I have a few minutes I will fire up the compressor and start painting on whatever I have laying around. Most of the equipment Ihave purchased has come from Ebay or craigslist, so in terms of airbrushes, small silent compressor, and accessories, I only have a couple of hundred dollars invested. I have more invested in paint than equipment!
