What size starter Franco? I just ordered one from the first Amazon link you put up. Ive got the 1.4k in my Pit. Looks to be the right match and for $12.59 not much to lose if it wont work.

I ordered an ultima starter which included the pushstart button haven't used it yet.i had one shop tell me that the push start kill the starter. I still purchased it after being told this.

Harry, I don't have a clue what starter I've got in the bike... I am in Afghanistan and cannot check it. I am hoping someone with a 06 K9 has got one in his and could tell me.

I've read in the forums some guys are using daily and no problems at all. maybe someone will expand further on this? :up:

I've got the the 24 on my 06 Mastiff. Pretty sure its the same starter. I use it when its over 105 deg out. Never had any issues with it.

Mike, is your starter the factory one? I would like to think they are the same in all 06 models?
