Solenoid Return Spring −08 K9

Hi all, Is the solenoid return spring universal part?
I installed a push button solenoid cover -just liked the idea…
and decided to clean the solenoid a bit while it was open. Noticed that the spring is in 2 parts, it’s still working but…
So, does like a HD spring from J&P cycles work. I just might be willing to invest all 2.69 to a new part

If they are that cheap I would buy it and give it a shot. It won't hurt it.
