04 Mastiff, Spyke starter(original), Wiresplus kit, I put a Spyke Solenoid rebuild kit in it and slammer button, but it's stopped working again, starts everytime with slammer button. Hit the starter button, compression releases click and thats it, has 12 volts to the green wire to the solenoid when button is pushed. It seems like the solenoid doesn't have enough power to pull the plunger in, you can feel it trying through the slammer button. The two wires inside the solenoid going to the windings look good and solid in the solder. Is it time for a new starter? or just keep hitting two buttons at once?
