Solenoid Cover with Starter Button

Hi all. I have a stock 2002 Mastiff. Does anybody have a recommendation for a starter slam cover. Big Dog would not give me the name of the starter manufacturer, so I can not confirm if it is compatible. I don’t want some Chinese piece of junk.

All I got from BD was that they used 1.6 kw and 2kw starters. Drag Specialties makes a different one for each. There are no markings on the starter. I attached a photo of the existing cover.

Most probably you have a Chinese starter, so BD will not know what they once installed there

Most probably you have a Chinese starter, so BD will not know what they once installed there

The older bikes were all 1.6kw. That particular starter has the BigDog logo on the cover of the starter. They stopped using that particular starter in ‘02 I believe.
