Sad to say I sold the Ridgback. Kind of sucks not seeing it in the garage. But on a better note old member Dogestyle bought it. He now has a great bike. If anyone has the chance to meet him make sure you do. He is a great guy, plus he has a bad ass bike:2thumbs:

Congrats on the sale, I'm surprised it took as long as it did. What a beautiful scoot...:2thumbs:

Thanks I think half the problem was I didn't want to sell it. I tryed to give Doggy some gas money to go back home and leave it here. It just didn't make sense letting it sit. I ride the ultra just about every day.

DOGESTYLE

DOGESTYLE
OK, let me say that the I left Baltimore at 8pm Friday night to get my new bike with my 14 year old daughter to keep me awake. I was very excited to get there so I drove straight to SC, arived at 5am (10 hour drive), took a 2 hour power nap, meet Seavee at his home at 7am to see the beast. I wa a little nervous because I have been let down down so many times by sellers who represent there bikes condition as perfect condition only to make a road trip and see the bike which is at best, fair to poor condition. The garage door opened, and there it was, the beast, sitting on the lift next to a bad ass Red Harley. Both bikes were in mint conditon speaking there own language. When he advertised the Bigdog , he said it was cleaner than when he bought it from the Bigdog truck, he wasn't lying. It was perfect, and tastfully customized. I now feel sorry for all the other members and friends of other members who had an interest in the bike who didn't take advantage of this sale. They missed out on a beauty. Seavee was a standup guy and kindly offered me gas money to go home and leave the bike with him. I know what it feels like selling your Bigdog and being dogless. I sold my Bulldog in April. We had great conversation while we were packing up all the goodies and the bike on the trailer. The experience was so great that I thought I was dreaming. After we loaded up all the goodies and extras, on the road again at 9am. My daughter was dead tired but I was so pumped to get the Dog home, I drove straight back to Maryland (another 10 hours) 5, 5 hour energy's, and a couple of double cheese burgers. The last hour was the worst. I knew that the bike needed to be cleaned before I put her to rest for the night and at this point, I was dead dead tired. The bike was coated with road oil and grime. We hit a little rain on the way home which made me cry. Unloaded the bike, I washed the bike while my daugther unpacked the jeep and by 10pm, we put her to rest all cleaned for a good night rest. Now, all I want to do is start the bike up and wake up the neighbors and let them know I have the new pup home. As you can tell, I am so excited and looking for any helpful feedback from all you Ridgeback owners. Never posted pics on this forum, but I will give it a try later. Special thanks to Seavee who called me on the way home to make sure my road trip was going smooth and thank you for a fellow biker who was behind me in his truck with his wife and flagged me over to tell me my straps were a little loose. He kindly flagged me over on the 75 mph highway and helped me restrap down the dog. He mentioned he had two Harleys in his garage and would hate to see anything happen to a fellow biker. For those who made it through this thread, sorry for the rant but I wanted to let everyone how wonderful it is to be a Bigdog forum member, and to meet geat people like Seavee, who gave me the opportunity to own my new Dog.

Thanks Dogestyle I am glad it all worked out and you made it home. I bet you had to look in the garage a couple times today just to look at it. Took the Harley for a ride just to get the dog off my mind. Keep in touch

Hey Dogestyle, I see you are in Baltimore County. FYI there is a charity ride on aug 28th starting in Carroll County for a MD State Trooper who was killed in the line of duty a couple months ago. I will post in the rides and events section section as it gets closer
