Well, he called tonight and said I could come over and see it. I told him I'm tired of chasing the bike and he could bring it over to my house. He did and the bike is flawless. It looks like it should be on the showroom floor. 5,0117 miles.

I took it for a ride with the wife and she loves it. Handled good and felt good. It was a little hesitant but he said the gas was 4 months old... So... I said if you want to sell it tonight I've got $8,500. He said no $9k was the lowest he would go. I said good luck on CL dealing with all the idiots for $500.... He left.

An hour later he called and said ok $8,500. He's bringing the bike back tomorrow night with the title... I think $8,500 for a new Harley is a good price considering I'll sell my 2005 Roadstar for $6k.... What do you guys think?
You did good Bill.

Just when I was thinking "walk away" the deal comes through for you Bill, that is one nice bike. Next time I'm in Deltona...maybe you'll want to sell it, haha. Enjoy it.

Well it's in my garage with title in hand. Took it for a short 25 mile run with injection cleaner and sea foam in the tank. Started running better. Tomorrow i'm going to pull the injectors and clean them good. Met the service manager from the local Harley dealer at the local bar. He said they did all the work on the bike and was surprised he would sell it. He told me to come down and trade it in on a new one. He said I'd get at least $12k tradein.... Not going to happen.... Looks good next to the dog and the RoadStar makes it look small....

Now the wife wants a new saddleman seat like the one that was on my Fatboy and a sissy bar.... Another $600 I guess it never ends...
