So sad to see the 3rd party vendors die off..

It is very sad to see all of the exhaust and other manufacturers either die by loss of sales and economics or just decide to not make stuff for Big Dog bikes anymore. I am seriously surprise how hard it has been to find pipes for my bike this week to replace the ones destroyed in my wreck.

So here is the question. Who is still out there making pipes for us?

I know RB Racing still makes em, I just ordered replacements. (Takes 10 weeks minimum to get though)

Paul Yaffe still has some.

SuperTrapp has pipes.

I cannot figure out if StreetWalker/Envy is alive or not. They don't answer emails and phone box is full, but website up. I heard the owner had a heart attack, but unsure of status of business.

Supertrapp is made in Ohio.
I happen to like mine.
They were very helpful when I called them for advice.

My best friend works at RB Racing. It's a tiny operation. It's just the owner and my friend. I have their pipe on my Harley and it kicks azz. Definitely worth the wait. BTW, the hold up is not with RB Racing. Your pipe is made within 48 hours of your order. It's the chromer/powder coater they use that takes so long. I've been to their chromer with my friend. They're top knotch but extraordinarily busy.

R&B is definitely a well engineered exhaust system .... probably makes the best performance pipes..

I ordered from Street walker about 1 year ago. I believe he was recovering from a heart issue, but i got 2 sets of RPGeez from him one with baffles. He told me he was going to make some but, people had to be patient. If you search forum there might be a phone # arround, i could try and look in my email see if i saved it.

the pipes don't have to be made for Big Dogs / Big Dog specific - RSD / LSD and rear tyre size is about it. You might have to knock up a bracket but that's easy enough

There's should still be plenty of people making pipes that big business alot guys are always changing exhaust on there bikes. I like building my own so if there's a problem with fitment it's my fault and when someone says who's exhaust is that I can say MINE!

Hey D4Ster. I'm going riding tomorrow with my friend from RB Racing. I'll ask him how if 10 weeks is realistic. I've had them do pipes for me in 2 weeks and I've also waited 3 months. Like I said earlier, it really depends on the chromer.
