Goo B Gone or any mineral based solution. Stay away from fingernail polish remover for they tend to have acetone in them which can and will screw up the paint in a very short period of time.

WD40 took it right off. Thank you guys. I would have tried peanut butter, but I could not find any that wasn't extra crunchy.

So you put PB on the adhesive, and let the dog lick it all off? Good for a laugh at least.

I know my dog would have licked the chrome off a bumper if it had PB on it.
