So, how would you value this?

I think u might be seeing reflection.. zoom In.. but I'd put the bike between 12.5k to 14k.. don't know what the market is for u in ur area
even blown up - something looks off.bottom_edge.jpg
could be reflection and angle but the left side just looks "off" to me from the edge to just past about 1/3.
Oh well I can't afford it anyway....

Don't see it here, maybe it is a reflection or a shadow
It does kind of look like the flow of the tank is bit different on the rear. Could it be because of the fuel pump?
Yeah -- don't see it there -- fuel pump is on left side not right.

Not bashful, but I choose my words wisely in an effort not offend the thread creator. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful bike. But I'd do it like I did mine and paint it right away.
Heck, not offended by any means! Painting tins is not that big thing, though kind of sad on "new" bike. But painting the frame would be a pain in the ass...

We saw that bIke in Daytona. Not the nicest paint scheme but the EFI just rocks once you get used to it. Keep your K-9 and get a new bagger, I'm sure he has some left up narth.... Best of both worlds.

To my knowledge that bike was not in Daytona or how would I know really.

I bought an old dog instead of a newer dog (or any bike for that matter) because of the carb... I am done with EFI ... but that is just me.
... as for the price.. $12.5K would be my top dollar... and not a penny more.

To me the bike looks fantastic. I know, I shot it while you other wankers played jacks on some tile kitchen floor and went to bed early after a tall glass of milk.View attachment 43098
Andy, can you show us a pic of the bike instead of a little ass that if most of us spent 5 minutes with would give us cardiac arrest? What did you think of the paint? It does look better in you're pics.

It's a very nice bike and is cleaner and seems to be more upkept then the average. To me, the 06, 07 and 08 retains the same value. I am a carb man, although my Dyna was fuel injected and I had no issues with that. For me, I am a little gun shy of fuel injection on these bikes and maybe that's because the current electrical systems, without the injection have issues of there own, although as we know there is a nice fix. Just time and money. you have to keep this in mind with the price. For some maybe the injection has a little less value and for some it might have equal value, but I can't see injection having more value, that's for sure. To me a really nice K9 in the "off season purchase" is worth about 12,000 to 12,500 and that's if it has an electrical upgrade such as a Docs or something similar. If it's on season expect the seller to hold to about a grand higher. To me I deduct 800 to 1000 right off the bat with no ehu replacement.

With that said above, if the exact perfect paint job came across, and that is open for interpretation, and it had very low miles (under 4k) then I could see myself paying 14 and maybe 14.5 for the bike. a terrible and over done paint job can crush the value hard and sometimes down under 10k. It costs about 2200 to 2600 for a really serious paint job. Yeah, yeah, yeah, i know everyone has a friend that is an "awesome painter. The definition of an "awesome painter" is one who is booked out 5 months and greater and all he does is custom motorcycle paint jobs.

I can dig up his phone number if anyone is interested.
