Small transmission leak & missing bolt

good afternoon everyone. Hope all is well and hope everyone who made it to Biketoberfest is having a good time. I noticed last week, I had some transmission fluid spots under the bike by the kickstand. Very small leak. I checked the lvl and it still shows full. Bike still runs, shifts up & down and finds N with no issues. I was finally able to get the bike up on the lift to check things out. I have the Karata 3" open primary. I cannot see any fluid on the inside of the belt. While on the lift, I can't see where the leak may be coming from. There is no fluid from the vent line and none around the top of the transmission. This leads me to think it is from the seal between the transmission and the primary. Thoughts? I am thinking if it was from the bearings, it would seep through to the primary and make its way onto the belt. I have read a few threads and I don't have any specialty tools for this job. Not sure what "specialty" tools I would need. I assume I have to remove the primary and back plate to rthe place the seal. Lining everything back up when putting it back together is the issue. I have also I never worked on an dry clutch. Needless to say this is all new to me. Additionally, while the bike was up, I notice a bolt missing from the frame to the transmission. Probably why the leak started in the first place. It almost looks like the bolt was never there. Anyone know what size bolt and thread this takes? I don't mind working on it, but can't really afford to hose it up. Thanx in advance for any advice and thoughts. IMG_2356.JPG

Transmission bolt?
Yes, kinda. The bolt hole that you see in the pic is just below the transmission. There are 3 bolts evenly spaced there. You can only see 1 of the 3 in place. Figured three bolts leading up from the mounting plate into the transmission. 2 are there and the one on the left is missing.

As clean as the bolt hole is I would think it hasn't been out too long.

Does anyone know where I can get the instructions for the Karata open primary and what tools I will need? The bike came with the 3" so I have nothing on it. Also, where is the best place to get a new seal and o rings?

since it is still a Baker transmission, my suggestion would be through Baker. would be for a DSSC tranny for a BDM.

Thanx for the input on the instructions and bolt sizes Guru. I will move the bike up and order the bolts from WSW, get things apart and see what else I need. I don’t think I will be able to ride it much more since I will be taking the boat back and headed out to sea.
