Was curious if anyone would happen to know exactly what this little black unit is that is connected to the speedometer on my 2000 BigDog Vintage Sport. No markings of any sort on it anywhere. TIA

Possibly some kind of old school EDR/ Blackbox unit? I’ve never seen anything like it.

let's see a pic of the speedo face so we can see what other functions are in there.
The RCS plug is a real oddball connector for going to the speedo (even though its not connected)
I’m afraid that won’t help much.No extra frills there. I’m going to remove the speedo from the housing this afternoon when I get home from work. I have a spare and might just hook it up to see how it functions compared to the current one. The speedometer is working fine but the odometer is in & out.
