Slow server

Anyone besides me having issues with stupid slow load times? Takes 5 fkn minutes for the forum to load and every link takes about as long. I've been trying to load the site for 30 dang minutes! Hope its just my piece of shit service or phone?

Well the lag on my end is gone. Maybe it was a server update or backup? Whatever, its back to normal.

You must remember that it can be anywhere from your pc to any of the machines/network thru which traffic has to travel to get to this or any other site. There are tools available to give you a better indication when a pageis slow where the problem lies. I'll work up a post on easy ways to do this when I get a minute.

In the meantime, for bigger sites etc there is downdetector.com that will show you the number of reported issues for some major sites and ISP's (spectrum, AT&T, Verizon etc)

Slow again this morning. Maybe a traffic issue. Things usually slow in the am. Maybe it needs coffee?

Yeah .. I got in twice this am but could not do anything.
Only way in was to type it in and still was very slow. And like I said once in nothing worked..screen was locked .
