Sissy bar ?

Will a sissy bar for a 280 rear tire work on a big dog with a 250. Didn't know if fenders were the same width or not. Bennett looking for a sissy bar and haven't had much luck yet. My chopper dt has struts that load in from rear.

Here is a pic of sissy bar that I am going to attempt to make. If anyone has the time to get me some measurements of the letters I've got on pic that would be great. Please let me know what size sissy bar you have. And have to be for a 250 rear tire thanks in advance

Hello Ray ..... my 250 is due to arrive on Monday afternoon ........ finally ! I'll see if I can get a width measurement between the rails for you. My pillion kit is straight from BDM with Danny Gray seats etc.

C. Should be center to center of bar ends.... 12 3/16 This should be what your struts measure also. (Go by strut measurment)
D. From tip to begining of radius, 11.5
E. Inside to inside radius, 6


Fwiw, the bar on my 04 Pit also has a slight rearward angle that starts from the bar/strut insertion point.
