SISSY BAR SUGGESTION

1) I've heard of horror stories about sissy bars coming loose and being very unstable. Anybody have any suggestions on where to look or what to get for something solid and tall?
2)I did my first actual work on my own bike and swapped out speedometers...yeah I know, not that technical, but for me thats a step in the right direction, BUT the spacer that goes between the housing and the speedo bracket, locktite between those or just sit it there? Thanks guys..bike is ALMOST complete, because I just picked up a kuryakyn pro r hypercharger as well. Reviews? THANKS folks!

Sissy Bar coming loose??? Who said that?

I take mine on/off all the time, so probably more prone than anybody.....but it has remotely loosened up on me. Solid. If you're having issues, toss on some Loctite.

I run the BDM sissy bar .... nice and solid unit, and probably saved my ass from being a Quadriplegic the rest of my life, after I was ran over at a stop light

I'll let you know how it goes on the hyper charger. By the way, turns out that the 09 ridgeback shift linkage h joints have different thread count on the bolts on the 06 K9...now we have two sets of forward controls sitting on the floor because the shift rod bolts don't work together...any suggestions without buying new shift rod sets?
