sissy bar strut spikes

i know this question has been asked before but when you are not riding with the sissy bar on what do you plug the holes with????i remember seeing someone that had spikes in there..could i get suggestions on what to fill the holes with???but i really want to know where to get the spikes and does anyone have any pics........

my kit came with plugs...I think Cavracer and jake (lowdownchopshop) were making some but I'm not sure if they ever took off...

My 2008 K-9 came with a set of plugs that were removed to install my 18" sissy bar. They put the plugs in a zip lock bag and gave them to me at the sale.

I'm with you jimizee. I only use the sissy-bar when the wife is on the back. I like the lines of the bike are better w/o the sissy bar, but I don't like the empty holes.

Go figure K9 has the integrated sissy bar that doesn't cost anything and they come with plugs, I spent a lot of money for the Chopper setup - no plugs....WTF.

Where do we get plugs?

I went to Lowes and bought chrome hole plugs. They have spring clips all the way around and just snap in the hole. They look good. I'm not home otherwise I'd measure them, but I believe they were 5/8" plugs.
