Probably old news but for any one who would like to check more into this....http://www.ohiolemonlaw.com/safety-recall-109-bigdog-sissybar.htm, I guess the bar is undersized..... And the bolts keep breaking on mine too. Swear to god if I have to drill and tap another POS out.....Just looking out for others and their passengers.

Damm!!! my one is a 06 K9. What happened to me the other day was that the upper padding fell off my bike... luckily enough my wife did notice it in time and we found it a few clicks back... no traffic on that road.

I did put it back all the way as far up I could and a few drops of Super Glue.

QUESTION: Any ideas how to make sure it does not falls off again?

Thanks guys.

Double sided tape between the sissy bar and plate mount. Good luck.
