thanks DEAD, hoping to find a chrome spike, know of anything like that? I don't have anything right now, but everything else is spiked on this ride.

Try looking at something like these. But you'll still have a little fab work to do. :2thumbs:

Studs And Spikes .com store

Another thought might be, maybe some of Jakes Spikes could be modified to accept a bolt in the bottom rather than a magnet. Improvise!

Thanks Again Dead, that spike website may be the ticket, just need to make a few measurements to see which one willl best fit the strut hole, then find a bolt/screw to hold it in. yeah.....

Way cool DEADONE, ordered some 2" spikes from that site and got them last night. Bitchin little add-on to fill the open holes in the struts. I like it. THanks again for the link.

Looks Good! :2thumbs:

I might even have to try that one myself! :2thumbs:

And that does give me a new IDEA too!:2thumbs::lol:

Yeah man for about $16 total including shipping that is by far my least expensive bolt on. I do intend to get a better screw, the one that came with the spikes doesn't have enough threads to get a flat and lock washer on, I also want to have the allen head to be able to get that on tight, don't want those things to take a ride down the drive belt and through the housing like I saw posted on here.

SO DO TELL, what's your new "IDEA" huh...huh..huh?????
