I've got a couple of friends that are good with fabbing up stainless. Making one may be the way to go. Won't cost me anything either. If I do, I'll post a pic here. I like the pics posted with the bar going into the end of the fender support, but with a sissy bar bag, will it hold up?
I built the bar myself and a old friend of mine machined the struts. The bar is removable like the newer dogs. Good luck with your project.Nice Pen,
Did you have the strut made or did you do it? I don't have machines for much metal work, I do have a good friend who is an underwater oil rig welder so I could probably buy some round bar stock and bend and cut the round bar, but it's attaching it to the strut that I'm trying to figure out! Hmmm.
Bdm started offering sissy bar packages in 04 they do have a strut setup for your bike. I think all the 05 model year bikes had the bar enter the strut from the rearAre there no kits for any year pitbull? I'm looking to have a sissy bar made but assumed that the mounting kit was just a stock item.I've got a couple of friends that are good with fabbing up stainless. Making one may be the way to go. If I can draw it on paper, these guys can cut it with plasma.

cool guys, some nice ideas! I think I would probably rather fab it up and make it something unique, BDM makes great accessories but I feel like I own a Ferrari when I see prices on some of the stuff! Lol
Hey pig pen...Im interested in your seat. Where did you find the passenger seat like that? All I can find is a pavilion pad from BDM?here is the set up I made![]()
