Nope 55, sorry. :nono:

mobsta is correct. :2thumbs:

The problem with the HID units and the EHC being compatible was the load factor of the HID units were much less than the stock bulbs recommended by BDM. Some of the EHCs were reading the low load factor or low current flow requirement as an open circuit and then the HIDs would work properly. :loony:

Jake made a modification to the amount of load to the HIDs circuitry to equal that of the stock BDM headlights.

Now they work just fine! :2thumbs:
No issues whatsoever!

Good Job Jake! :2thumbs:

I got my HID kit from here:
HID HEADLIGHT CONVERSION KITS - Low Down Chop Shop

I'm guessing this is Jake that others are referring to, but not sure.

Have had the HID in my bike for a couple years now on my '05 Chopper, and have had NO issues with it! Fit right into the light "bucket" as easily as a stock bulb would. A bit of a tight fit for the ballast/ignitor module that also goes into the "bucket", but all went in fine.

Hence the reason that although I'm practically DYING to put blue lizard lights on my bike, I don't. I literally love my K9 to death, but they are sooooo tempermental to electrical issues!
