shuts off

I have an 05 ridgeback never had any problems until I took it in for an electrical recall. Ever since nothing but problems wont start and now bike shuts off completely while driving. It shut down 4 times while I was doing 75 on the highway, almost as if i turned the key off. Then I pulled in clutch and pressed the starter and the bike backfired then started. Any ideas?

make sure the wiring harnesses are plugged into the EHC and screwed in well. also check all of your grounds

What recalls did you have done?

Voltage regulator?

Handle bar switch upgrade?

Did they wash it before you picked it up?? If they did they could have very easily gotten sensitive electrical components wet.
