Introduction please-

Start by checking ALL of the wire crimp connectors for tight crimps at both battery terminals. Re-crimp regardless just to make sure. This happened to me and the "07" Bulldog and it would just die. It could be restarted most of the time on the roll but sometimes I would have to wait 15mins to an hour then last the time it wouldn't come back on and it went to the Beezer's for troubleshooting and repair. The ring wire crimps were so loose you could easily pull the wires out. These fed power to the EHC and would cause erratic EHC operation.

Welcome, try simple stuff first

The cutting off could be the key switch htis has happened many times

The tach lights flashing while running typiclly indicate to low of a idle setting. Specs cal for idle to be 950-1050 RPM. If they are set to low the tach will start flashing. these engines need the idle rpm a little higher to insure proper oil pressue.

Welcome:cheers:

Now go do your intro :2thumbs:

after you check simple stuff, may want to check wiring under tank. make sure no wires are worn and grounding out or wires melted together.
