Several of you know the Skogg, Eric, and myself took a trip out west (4000 miles) last week. On the way home from Death Valley I started having a problem with my starter. When we got to Phoenix at noon on Friday, I started thinking with the weekend coming up if that starter got worse I didn't want to ride a thousand miles pull starting the Dog all the way home (we were planning to get home Sunday) so I called Matt to see if he had some support network in Phoenix. He said " give me about 5 minutes and I'll call you back". In a few minutes Matt called and told me to head over to Skunk Motorsports in Mesa and they would take care of me. When we got there, one of there mechanics came out and listened to it start and said it needs a starter clutch. He proceeded to drop everything, take a bike off the lift he was working on, and immediately started on mine. We had lunch, spent some time with BigDogRick, and in about 3 hours we were on our way with a perfectly operating starter. The point of this post is to let it be known that you are NOT without support when touring on a Big Dog. Never underestimate the industry connections Matt has. He helped me in Mississippi with a fuel line issue with an excellent shop with the same caliber of service.
If you are ever in the Phoenix area and need something you can't go wrong with Skunk Motorsports.
Thanks Matt
