I wanted to vouch for 'Doc" Mark Carrillo, our own favorite Forum pill pusher.
Mark sold me a sweet 2 into 1 V&H exhaust, and definitely was great to deal with. He even waited several weeks for me to get back to the states, and completed everything as promised. I found him to be a good communicator and a stand up guy.
I will definitely be buying him a beer at the Lone Star Rally next month in Galveston!!

Not bad lookin' for an old burned out '08 K9 with 70,000 miles, eh? Never mind how much money I've put in it....it's worth it.
And for all you guys who seem to thrive on nonessential details in the photos---Yes, I know the sissy bar bag isn't snapped! haha

Pill Pusher! Makes me think of when my dad took me to the Union Carbide building in Times Square and as you walked in there was a huge banner with "Better living through Chemistry".... loved that sign.

Blacktopper and I put those pipes on after lunch today, then I had to do some things at work, about 4 blocks away. I immediately noticed the pipes were not as loud as the 2 into 2, and not until I headed home did I realize how much difference the power was at the lower end of the torque range. Noticeable. And my K9 has a 585 cam, a little compression bump, a Thunderheart, and a spike-type air cleaner, so it ran pretty good anyhow. I didn't think any one thing would make that much difference.
Thanks again, Mark.

I don’t want to thread jack but do those pipes separate from the head pipe into the one or is it all welded as one whole piece?

Not too sure I understand your Q Gmuto, but here is a pic. The pipes are one piece, with the front and rear cylinders joining about where the heat shields join. FE5ECEE0-0C25-4DE4-8650-F2FC7B199E29.jpeg

Come to think of it, I’ll be in the shop after lunch and will take a better photo.

UPDATE: I checked, and the V&H 2 into 1 is a single unit. The pipes are welded to the muffler and the only detachable things are the heat shields.
