John, I think I know what your next problem is gonna be with your bike, keep an eye on that back tire for split. You got a 50/50 chance it won't, but keep watch. The split goes horizontally across the tire.

On another note, I know I have said this before but that is one sweet looking ride with the chrome package and if you keep putting pics on here and teasing me with this eye candy I'm going to fly out there and ..... well lets just leave it at that.

To hell with flying, put that bad boy on a trailer and haul ass out here! We can ride along the California coastline from here to L.A. then we could get together with all the So Cal boys!
We can have the women follw with the trailer, just in case!

Right on buddy! I think if we ride together that it's gonna take a while to get there cuz our bikes are gonna atract a hell of a lot of attention, there gonna look bad ass on the road or parked next to each other! Sweet Mastiff Ker! I love the trailer, nice set up!

How many miles on that Metzler? I had one on my 05 Bulldog and it didn't last very long, maybe 3 to 4 thousand miles!

It will be fine. Try not to worry about it. After reading this post, I was riding yesterday and smelt something like plastic burning going down the road and thought, "Oh F**k! That s**t that happened to Cdogg is happening to me!" Checked it when I stopped and its fine.

The one shown only has a couple hundred on it. The last one (Metz) I had 5K on it and then ran over something that put a hole in it that big that I could stick a pencil in it. I prolly could have gotten another 1K out of it, which I only got 8K out of the original Venom.

Shit, I wonder why on my 05 Bulldog the Metzler wore out so fast?

Throttle control, braking, driving style and road surface. Which brings me to something I thought about today riding, when you layed it over awhile back do you think you hit the VR wire that's under the bike? Did you inspect the one you took off for a pinch or cut?

Yea I looked at it and it was tucked in above the frame rail and wraped in a heat shield! the only thing that was wierd was at the end close to where it comes out of the VR the wire was bare, maybe it wore down where it goes though the wire holder and shorted out is all I can think happened, or it was just time for it to burn up!

That was getting it ready to role out for Daytona Bikeweek

Sue told me today that my $39 bag ain't cutting it and I need to get a new one.
