Shortening Footpegs

I'm a shorter guy with an 04 Bulldog. Wanted to know if there's any way to bring the pegs closer to the seat making it easier to shift and use the rear break. Or if I can order other pegs or anything like that?

Or you could get your self a push seat.

A push seat is also an option.The seat would bring the bars closer to you recreating the original seating position.

They should be able to make one to fit you (more or less push-padding).

I had to reskin my seat. So I cut out all the foam downward and backward. I sit 1.5 inches lower and further back. Perfect for me. I suggest you reskin yr seat (add some embroidery and stuff) and add foam to fit yr needs. My reskin was $150 for basic black leather on the factory pan. Done by Sargent Upholstery in 2008.

Do any other brands of foot pegs and whatnot fit the Big Dog bikes?

I read an article earlier about a biker that took extended foot controls and flipped them upside down to make them shorter. Is this something that might work with Big Dog foot controls (if anyone has experience in this area).

Sorry to drag this thread out but I was just looking at pics of my footpegs compared to others and I wonder if my pegs are the Extended pegs and not the stock pegs that come with the bike. Or am I trippin? (See attached)

this bike's description says foot controls are extended 2 inches

Your's looks extended to me after looking at my pegs. My left peg is directly over the front bolt. Your's looks a couple of inches further forward.

Looks like I'll be offering extended pegs as a trade for stock pegs lol

I didn't think it was right that the pegs were out of my reach almost completely.
