I've got a female friend that is intetested in an 07 BD Pitbull. She currently has a 2014 HD Street Bob. She wants to know if her 29/30 inseam would work on a Pitbull. She is 5'2.
Thanks gentlemen and ladies.

Being that the pitbull is a rigid frame bike, the seat is usually a few inches lower than many harley seat heights. I believe the seat height on my pitbull is around 24". If she can keep her feet on the ground with a street bob, she shouldn't have any problem with a pitbull. With that said, these bikes handle very differently in corners because of the 300 tire. It's nothing to be afraid of. You just have to get used to it.

I think she is more worried about the reach for her feet on the pegs at the 29/30 inseam.

Shouldn't be any problem at all, if she can ride that street bob, Big Dog seat height is way lower than any harley. As far as reaching the pegs just get her a push seat and it shouldn't be an issue as long as the Pit Bull doesn't have the extended forward controls

Thank you for the information. I will pass it along right now.

Or there are also retracted mounts for the controls that bring the pegs closer. Not sure if Derrick and Donna would have them.
I was going to suggest that, but i didn't know how available they were. Also, I think I remember reading that they won't fit with the mean mother pipes, which means they probably won't work with a lot after-market pipes.

Shell be ok I have a 30" inseam and have a mastiff and it's no issues. In fact I went with a 2" extension on mine and I'm still good.

With the push seat and altered controls she'll be perfectly comfortable. You only have to buy part of the controls - not the entire thing - to change the length.

Regular seat + extended controls definitely won't work.............

So the bike she gets may fit, or it'll just need some work done.

Yeah, she will be able to handle it just fine. My gf is 5' tall and weighs 100 lb. She rides a 2007 Bulldog. I ride a K9. We purchased new in 2007. We have rode 45,000 miles together so far. Awesome bikes.

Hell I'm almost 6ft and got 1 30" inseam and I have 2.5" extended controls on the K-9.
Her issue will be reach to the bars, but as mentioned Push seats are available.

as for the reach, sometimes the bars can be swapped for bars from other models with a greater pull-back. although, that would tend to be a hit-or-miss on finding the right set for her.
