How far away is that ride??
About 170 miles one way, if we go around Wichita
It is pretty far will be a full day for sure.

Everyone should be aware it's gonna be a 300 mile day so it might be a little much for some people or maybe your passenger. I know some people can't do that length for various reasons. So Plan accordingly!

Yes, we'll leave early, take a break somewhere in the middle. Ladies with tender butts can jump in the chase vehicle if need be. And no one is going to give anybody to hard a time if you drive along with us.
I'm a hurry up and get there kind of guy, so I won't be leading the ride. I have been on Google Earth looking for good stopping places with 93 octane. No luck yet, I'm sure we'll manage somehow.

I will most likely drive if I go to Derrick and Donna's place since I have to consider my girlfriend who hasn't been a passenger on long rides. If we had more time to get some 300 mile rides in then I would do it. It's probably worse on my Ridgeback but I don't know any difference. So, distance riding for me isn't a concern except for weather.

I've been blessed to find a woman who does a lot of things with me and I want to keep it that way.

Yeah, good luck with that. We dont have much over 91 around here. I keep a bottle of 107 octane to boost it a bit. Every autoparts store carries it. Casey's does have ethanol free premium so there is that.....but it is only 91 too.

The ethanol is only a problem if you let it sit in the tank, or running it all the time. A couple tanks while your on the road will be ok. I'll bring a couple bottles of octane, for those that need a shot.

Add a + to the end of my 300 mile comment. Haha

My point was to make sure people know because I know there is a lot of folks that haven't put 300 miles on in one day on their big dogs and I didn't think for those people or anyone a difference between 300 and 340 is a difference maker. And as Hew mentioned if there is a passenger she might not be happy with that either.
