shifting gears

Sometimes the shifter is not springing back to allow another shift, so I have to raise with foot to shift again. What's the normal problem and fix. Thanks

I would try the easiest thing first! Lube your heim joints on the shift rod ends...

X3, they do need to be lubed, use a good penetrating oil, WD40, etc..! :up:

I had the same problem. I took everything apart. Removed the forward control, and took it apart. The problem wasn't in the trans or the linkage, they all worked fine. The problem ended up being in forward control itself. After a good clean and grease, and replacing the washers with new ones, it all works as it should. Take everything apart, clean and inspect all connections and movement... you'll find the culprit. Hope this helps.
