shift linkage

SIICK!!!
WI needs the measurements between the centers of the heims. I have a custom linkage, but the style and the heims are of a style different from Chopper Dave's. The contact at WI was Aaron. If he is still there, he is the guy to talk to. On my linkage, my heims were installed in the linkage, at right angles to the linkage. You will note that Dave's are installed at the ends of the linkage. I think mine looks "cleaner," but there is no adjustment available for shift linkage length, and you have to be "spot on" when providing WI the measurements.
Chopper Dave is the guru on this shit...he helped me when I was looking for chrome spacers and hardware to get mine mounted.
Thanks bro! :2thumbs:
all I did was get a 1/2 chrome spacer so the back of the linkage would not hit on the jug of the rear cylinder...and adjusted my heim's in so they were the same length as the my stock shifter linky...just put the 2 next to each other and got the same length

I called WI after posting here and I inquired about a linkage and they acted as though they couldn't help me. The didn't offer to make a customized one or nothing. They just stated they couldn't help me with one that length (17 inches) and pretty much ended the conversation. Luckily a couple of weeks ago I was in Rodney's Cycle House in Little Rock. Rodney's is a small BDM Dealership in Little Rock. They had a custom made linkage from WI that someone had special ordered and didn't pick up, so he gave it to me for a hell of a price.

Its just like the one Skidmark described. It has the hems at the right angles built into the linkage. I like the way it looks because it is all one piece but there is not way to adjust it. It fits mine perfectly but if I wanted to extend my controls I would have to get another one.

I really like that Rodney's, it's a good place but somewhat small. They seem to be very helpful.
