I bought one also. mine was is a 3 ring binder. A lot of pages and info, but not near enough to do things step by step( both taking apart or re- assembly.)
I kept my last harley manual which I will use to fill in the blanks. Harley manual is 10 times more thorough .

It would also help if you picked up a S&S manual for your engine. They cost myabe $25 bucks. The 04 and earlier have the "Super Sidewinder Engine" and covers the 107 motor. 05 and later have the "Super Sidewinder Plus Engine" and covers the 117 motor. Also a few 04 models had a 117 as this was offered as a option.

Over and out V

I have the S&S motor manual, and that level of detail was what I was expecting on the BDM Maunal.

As an aside, this summer an AF guy came to las vegas for a local military exercise and brought his 2002 Indian and his service manual. I was thumbing throught it one night and could not belive how similar is was to my 2002 Pitbull. His was a softail and had an S&S 88, but other than that, basically the same (brakes, EHC, electrical, forks, carb, etc.) He printed me a copy and then told me I could get an electronic version on EBay for $10. Which I bought. I use it as my main manual in adition to the S&S motor book.

SO is this the service manual or just a supplement ( the Summit)??

Rhino, I don't recognize this manual but maybe Dogvet could help up out. Could be a mechanics version.

As for a "Tech Summit" BDM holds these tech summits every year and your mechanic should be going to them for training on all the latest changes to your bike.

All of you should be asking your mechanics at your local dealership how many summits they have been to. It may give you an idea to how knowledgeable they are with your bikes.
