SELLING SISSY BAR & STRUT SET

I own a 2006 BIG DOG MASTIFF and have been looking to buy struts & sissy bar for my bike.

I contacted BDM and they quoted me around $700.00 for the struts & sissy bar kit. They didnt have it in stock so i have to wait until they pile up a least 25 orders to manufacture them. I didnt want to wait for that long.

While doing my research, i came across somebody selling a kit.
He sent me pictures and they looked great. He was asking $425.00 which seemed really cheap. So i bought them.

Only problem was that he didnt know the model/year of the bike and couldnt specify if they fit my bike. He clarified that it will fit my 250 rear tire. So i took the risk and purchased them anyways.

I got them today and noticed that the struts do not fit my bike and they dont have any part # on them.

I requested some help in the general forum about the model/year they might fit.

I was told they fit 03 or 04 Bigdog Rolling Thunder chopper frame Please see picture attached to this message

I just want to get what i paid for them. So the price will be $425.00 shipped.

Hey Sam,

Wish I had come across this earlier... I have an '04 Rolling thunder frame but am only looking for the struts now, I already bought an 18" sissy form the forum but they didn't have the struts so I bought it anyways thinking I could find some on here. Would you be willing to sell me only the struts?

not absolutely sure but i don't think those struts are for an 04 they don't look like mine

Just did some checkin and the Mastiff and Chopper have different part numbers. Those look to be for a 05-07 chopper, but not sure if they are for a RT or a Daytec frame. You have a Daytec frame don't you?

They sure made it hard on a guy trying to buy used parts for these bikes.:D
all in all most of the stuff is interchangable.

I need a sissy bar for mine but being unsure about those struts I cant pull myself to purchase them. Shovelhead kicker has a set on fleabay right now that look very similar to those,and they are for a daytec frame.

The problem is because BDM doesnt mark the struts with part #:down:

I hope not, I've got a Rolling Thunder Frame and according to BDM, they've stopped manufacturing them as a stand alone item so I know where Mastiff1's coming from.
