Okay, so late last summer, I dramatically changed the seat on my 2004 Pitbull. I did it for comfort. Love it. The thread I posted is here--->RoofDude's new seat

Well, I decided it was time to make it look good :D I didnt like the tan lip under it. I didnt really care for the "hem" all the way around it either. It was comfortable but, once I got over the difference, I'd been wanting to dress it up. So I went to see Bill @ Rags to Riches in SLC (4036south Main st)

He did a great job customizing my RK seat to my ass last summer. I wanted to recover this "cheap looking seat" & make it pimp. Although, I didnt want too radical.

Well, I picked it up today :2thumbs: I love it. I think it looks awesome....

I thought about doing some inlays, etc... but, just went with basic design. Got rid of the "hem" that was all the way around, & the tan leather on the underneath border. Either way, I think it looks waaaay better than it did. Thought I'd share.

My wife wants her 1200 seat done. I told her they are out of that material

hey roof one question on that seat with it being so far up off of the battery do you worry about water getting into the electrical?

Nah, I dont worry about that. It is a little lower when riding it :D Plus, I never intentionally ride in the rain.

Thanks..! I still love it. It makes the ride waaaaay better. The little bumps, are gone. The big ones, are way smoothed out.

There is one negative though..... When I feel frisky, I feel like Im gonna fly right off the back of it :D The "old seat" kinda sat you down in it more. Ya had a little support so to speak. This design although providing great comfort, doesnt have the sunk in or back support. When she's pulling hard, ya really have to hold on now :2thumbs: I kinda adds some adrenalin to the whole experience :)

I REALLY like this Roof:2thumbs: One question though, how much did it change your riding position? I mean, I'm only 5'10 and it looks like it moved you back a bit. Not good for us vertically challenged if you get my drift:confused:
