Seat and Sissy Bar Questions

I have a 2003 Mastiff. I need to upgarade the seat for a second rider. Is the 2-up seat from Big Dog the way to go or are there other options? Will I need to get a Sissy Bar from Big Dog are are there other options here too?

My 03 Mastiff has both a single seat and a 2-up that came with the bike when I bought it. Not sure if they have a pillion pad that fits the 03 . Would be cheaper if you could go that way, but the 2-up is fairly comfortable. Back rest requires side struts that bolt on with brackets for the sissy bar. Not too difficult but need to be careful not to pinch the wiring when you mount them.

I too have an 03 Mastiff and have both the solo and 2-up seat that came with the bike. I do not use a sissy bar as I prefer to have my (female) passengers hold on tight. An added benefit of this is having a great backrest. :2thumbs:

I think I saw a 2 up seat for an 03 on Ebay so check on there.

No luck on my ebay search. Any other suggestions for a passenger seat? I would like a 2 up that is all one piece if I could find one. Any other makes of seats that would work?

Might want to PM or check with Fairless (aka: Lena) from Strokers, Dallas. Saw on another post somewhere in here that they were able to match up a 2nd seat on an older model for someone and they were very pleased!

I did a custom passenger seat. I had him basically do a normal passenger pad but had him make it so it can be attached it to my seat. That way it won't go flying off when she isn't on and its really easy to take off. Really comfy, this guy did it for $300 Bitchn Stitchn in Denver. But I'm sure anyone could do it. I think the passenger pad is $200 and the 2 up is $550 or something.

I think they were talking about a pillion pad. I've seen where they've matched one of those up even though it wasn't model specific.

The pillion that is model specific to your bike, also fits the 03 Bulldog, Pitbull, and Chopper.
