Spoke with S and S today. Tec said not to vent the lower crankcase. Said to plug it. Said to continue to vent upper crankcase into oil tank which is typical. Said to vent the rocker boxes to atmosphere via a line down and under the bike with filter on end. Guess I run with that. How is your bike plumbed?

The only part I disagree with is the rear of case venting. I ALWAYS vent it when possible, and use a (PCV) on the end of the hose.

I always make it a point not to disagree with John, because he knows his stuff, but I have been plugging off the rear crank case vent on several engines without any problems. Gets rid of that mess. Just make sure your head vents are clear.

Thanks, for the input. Mr. Wright ... I do not understand your last sentence and it sounds important.

Thanks all. Not sure which way to go. I'll determine it when it's time to put the motor back in. Thanks again. What pvc and where to buy?
