Thanks Bob is it 20"? is the luggage rack removable, so it can be used with or without it?

Hey Jamo, i think these bars are both the same size. Big Dog measures from the last bend, the 12 inch is actually almost 20" from the fender. I have the 12 inch on my 07 K9.

Ok. Thanks. I just compared it in the Kel's picture and the 12" looks quite small in that compared to other one.BTW, I really like that S&S Tuned induction air cleaner on your bike

Yes - The sissy bar is two feet high - The luggage rack will fit any sissy bay 15" wide.

Might as well get both if you can. I’ve needed a luggage rack on a few occasions and wished I had one.

Seems like some of the factory bars had a taper with a collet and some didn't. You can always cut the taper off ifyou don't have the collects. Just a thought.

Both sissy bars being offered in this thread are the same.
This is the measurement of an 18” sissy bar from top to bottom
Same bike with a 12” & 18” bar.

The 18” or 12” measurement is taken from the top of the bar to where the bar starts to flare to go around the fender.

Yes they are but total length is taller than 12 inches measured from top to bottom.
