Seal Puller??

Anyone know how to get this seal out of the end of the shaft? I've tried two seal pullers, both having the two hooks on the ends and had no luck. Thanks!

Brian are you trying to save the seal?????
If your not, drill the seal face with @ 5/16" drill bit in 2 places opposite sides and just prize out with a philps screw driver or some sort of fabricated hook that has a bit of stiffness.

Thanks for the info Jeff but the 5/16 won't fit in the seal grove...maybe a 1/16 will. I'm trying to remove the seal that is sticking out the end of the shaft in the pic.

UPDATE:

After about 20 minutes of prying with a small flat head, finally managed to get behind the seal!!
