I've noticed that after riding for even a fairly short ride that the vibration has the tendency to loosen the 4 screws holding down the 2 large black electrical plugs on the EHC.I tighten them down when I return home after the ride, but 2 nights ago I did not heed my own warning when tightening them and snapped one of them off.Where do I get a replacement screw?I have gotten the broken end out ok.

Check out your local FASTENAL dealer, they can get just about anything you need. If that don't work I may still have the old ends that I removed while installing the wire+. Let me know.

If I recall correctly, I think a #4-40 machine screw at the same length will work. Get one at any GOOD hardware store.

Or zip tie them to the unit -- keeps them tight and no worries about the crappy screws.

Thanks guys for the responses!I'll try to get the screws, but will also try the "zip-tie" deal.I didn't even think about being able to get one around the EHC. Duh!

Above are good suggestions; you might try your local computer parts/telecom warehouse as well, should be standard machine thread connector screws used throughout the industry. Think about the old RS232 (and the like) connectors - should be the same thing as far as the screw itself. Can buy 'em in bulk, I just threw away hundreds of them.

Find someone with RS-232 cables. Geeks save these cables. If the screw fits, Locktite it. Even if you tie wrap it, it will still back out due to vibration and get lost again.
