battery screw fell down the oil filler tube into the oil tank. what's the consensus.....hell with, it won't cause an issue or pull the tank and to get it out?

One of the old ones.
After some of my episodes I'm not gonna ask how the hell you managed to do that!! I've done worse.....
Not too familiar with the oil tank on a Pitbull.I sure agree with the guys here that it should be fetched out of there. On my K9 it would sure be a pain to find a bendable stem magnet that would snake down the angles in the oil tank to get to the bottom. If you try that, I'd recommend a fairly mild magnet. Problem being a magnet will stick to any of the metal on the tank which makes it harder to fish it through the filler neck and get it to go clear to the bottom.
Idea: Maybe you could get it up by sliding a strong magnet on the outside of the tank. That failing, oil tanks are not that hard to remove. Just messy.

Wait this guy has a pitbull? How the hell do you do that? The oil tank is on the bottom of the bike and the filler neck isn't close to the battery.

I can understand a K9...that's one hell of a shot on a pitbull

With a strong magnet I bet you could run it under the tank to get the bolt back to the fillneck to pluck it out
