Scott Seatmaker strikes again!
Talked to Scott a few weeks back had an idea to get my seat more comfortable and have the bike fit me a bit better. Over the past year I have been thinking that it would be nice to have a better backrest and scoot me forward a bit so I'm not hunched over at the shoulders to grab the ridgeback bars. I found out the other day the previous owner put 2.5" extenders on the foot pegs, so my legs actually fit great, just my arms are short. I guess my arms are shorter than my legs? :loony:
Anyways we emailed back and forth a bunch of times, I went back and forth of my design sense as I have zero creativity in my bones.
The job he did was superb! And the best part is how damn comfy this seat is. It's like night and day. I got the chance to put about 180 miles in the saddle and I felt great afterwards! Can't thank him enough, best money I've spent so far on my dog.
I am definitly ready to pound the payment this fall. I feel like this seat will allow me to do alot more miles than I previously could, feels like a different bike almost! On the ridgeback stock seat once I hit the 200-225 mile mark in a day I was always riding on 1 ass check then the other to try and get where I'm going. I don't think doing 300 miles in this seat a day will be hard. Can't wait to give it try!
Scott, Might be sending you the Pillon here shortly to do the same mod. The lady is not happy anymore
Here are some build pics that Scott sent my way after the build, I thought they were cool so figured I would post them up to sho the work that goes into it.
