***SOLD*** Nearly new, repackaged in box. I installed this system and used it for less than a month. There is nothing wrong with the system at all, I just had issues with its seat theft performance and then had a pissing contest with their customer service to return it. Well I guess they won, because they wouldn't let me return it. I took the system out of my K-9 and repackaged it for return. It is a SR-i900 with proximity sensor and has the required Big Dog Harness BD-2. I paid $394.00 plus S&H and would like to get at least $300.00 for it. If you are thinking about getting an alarm system, please buy mine and save yourself a hundred bucks. Please email me at sssbrooks@cox.net if you are interested. Thanks Steven

Do not install the ignition cut off. It will short out your EHC the way the instructions have it wired!! Gasman has instructions on how to wire the cut off.

I have the instructions from Gasman. Going to do the install as soon as the roads are clear enough to ride it home.

I have one installed on my K-9 and it is awesome. Great peace of mind. I don't like leaving my chop anywhere! I had a local auto radio/alarm/auto start place do it. PM me an I'll give you the location where he mounted it. Wiring was easy with Big Dog adapter kit from Scorpio.

No problems with mine either. Installed it myself. I left the cut off switch off. Figured I wouldn't worry about it.

Good piece of mind.

Hey CHOPPED, my issues with the one I have was that i was able to pluck off my $500 custom seat fast enough that the proximity sensor didn't catch me. It would give the audible warning that an intruder was too close to the bike, but I was fast enough in removing the seat and stepping back out of the sensor field that it did not go into alarm. I tried to explain this to them but they wouldn't let me return it. It says on the website you only have 10 days from receipt to return the system. I never knew that because I ordered the system over the phone. It is an issue of timing, not sensititvity, you can adjust the sensitivity, but that has nothing to do with my ability to steal the seat in under two seconds. Timing of the proximity sensor is not adjustable.
OH AND WHY DIDN"T YOU BUY MINE.......lol. COuld have saved you a bunch!

Well that sucks. I was going to install a cable to my custom seat when it comes in. I'm sure you could mess with the sensitivity on it to react quicker. I've had mine for a few months. It has just been too damn cold out to install it. Going to try to get the dog home tomorrow. Still in the 30's here, so it will be a cold ride!!!!

Hey Chopped,

I have a trailer you can use (but I may have to dig it out of the snow first).....

Thanks for the offer, but I'll just bundle up and ride her home. Rode it there when it was 32 out, so I know to expect some numb fingers by the time I get home.

No sensitivity adjustment will change the alarm report timing. Sensitivity adjustments adjust...........sensitivity. There are no adjustments or consumer ability to reprogram the amount of time between the sensor being activated and reporting to the keyfob as an alarm. The system gives audible warning at the bike that the proximity sensor has been intruded. You must continue being in the sensor field for three or more seconds before the alarm is generated to the keyfob. I can take my seat off and move away from the bike in under three seconds, beating the alarm, so yeah long story done, attach a one dollar cable to your nice seat because that $400 alarm system won't catch me if i want your seat.
