Saw Biker Down

Was out for a ride and took the long way home... saw a cop in the middle of the intersection about a half mile ahead of me. Got closer... saw a bike on it's side in front of a jeep.

Pulled over to see if I could offer any help. Looked like the jeep hit the back of the bike. Looked like minimal damage (tail light, fender and scrath on highway bars) but apparently the guy was still recovering from a broken collar bone and only recently got the bike back after it's last incident.

Offered to ride the bike down the street to his house but people there knew him and family and contacted someone who said they'd come down to pick it up.

Hope the guy gets better...

It def. could have been a lot worse. I called the hospital, but they wouldn't give any info. I expected it though... but thought I'd at least get a "he was well enough to be discharged". But maybe that was aan indirect answer itself...
