Not trying to take anything away from this rider. I hope you fully recover, as quickly as possible. That being said, did anyone notice how well the fork tubes "bent" rather than snapped, after impact? Just says something about the quality of fork tubes.

May 1st they are having an event to raise money for him. The biker community always stands tall when a brother or sister is down.

He is up and walking around now. He has full vision in one eye and the other is blurry . They think that will clear up in time.

Another local guy was cut off and went down about a month ago "Hillbilly ". Great guy old-school biker. He is back riding but his bike was totaled. His fundraiser was Sunday. $19k was raised. Huge turnout. He cried a few times that day. He said he didn't think so many people cared about him. He felt the love!

That's awesome ChrisS. Good to hear your buddy is back up on his feet again and improving. That's gotta be very heartwarming for the other guy to have so many people show up and donate so much money. That'll really help with any medical expenses and putting a chunk towards another bike.
