here is the scoop
it only took the dealer 9 weeks to fix my frame with special tool ? hmmm it is fine now. The fact is when i bought this bike i thought it had S&S 117 it did not it was a watered down epa version. the engine was ticking away had bad guides and valve. I spent several thousand dollars early this year and had it built right S&S rocker boxes, roller rockers, titanium valve spring retainer setup, high lift springs, bigger valves, serdi valve job, cylinders machined for proper squish, reed crankcase breather, super G xxx bore job, zippers venturi upgrade, thunderjet, new pistons .010 over, thunderheart twin cam programmable ignition. has about 900 miles on build, FYI builder is this years AHDRA Prostock Champion. this thing screams first time i got on her a little i felt the tranny jump when i went into 3rd gear .Since then it seems to jump in gear only in 3rd that i can notice no 1st, 2nd. I installed a bandit super clutch, and modified primary cover so i can adjust springs without removing entire cover just remove the vanity plate. did not solve issue did not try super pressure though. took tranny off inspected gears looked ok installed all new bearings, clips, washers, shifter pawl, put back together same thing. the bike is rideable if i had garage so i can give it attention it needs it would probally be simple fix. Right now i just cant afford to put time or money into the bike so it sits. i love how the bike looks it is quick as hell and has a very agressive sound. I cant eat the bike and now i need the cash. Well that was entirely to long but the truth. Have reciepts all from engine, and clutch. The tranny issue is considered in asking price oh and dealer lost a suction cup from my seat. Will sell for any resonable offer.
