Saddle Gel or Memory Foam

Never had a complaint when using Saddlegel in my seats, Saddlemen Motorcycle Seats, Luggage and Accessories but some have asked about memory foam. For those that have memory foam if you get off the seat does it show your impression until it comes back up? Is that a problem? Maybe a combination of both? Have a few asking and also looking myself to offer the best there is to give.

All i can say is i can't wait to ride my dog with the new seat you made it feels so good just sitting on it so cant wait to ride... Thanks again Scott

I have been doing some research and am so confused as to which direction I want to go seems like memory foam is the new direction these days. what do you think about it??

I experimented with both on my Wolf as its seat was a little less than desirable (I'm talking long rides here; not just bar hopping). Anyway, gel seems to work good if you sit more on your ass cheeks or in a straight up position. Foam seems to work better if you sit more on your tail bone or in a laid back position. I preferred the foam better, but that's just me. A combination of both seems like a good option too.

Seems to me the gel would absorb more bumps because of the rebound affect...where as memory foam just forms around you..great if your on the recliner...seems like the seat with memory foam would haveta be extra thick to do what the gel does....just my opinion.....seat I need to get in contact with you...is there any way to get samples to see what color/type material I would like to do my seat in...thanxx

I have both in my seat with the gel on the bottom covered by memory foam. It does not heat up in the sun like straight gel does.
